Thread: 1920 Carb accelerator pump arm linkage length

Default 1920 Carb accelerator pump arm linkage length

So as I was rebuilding the carb, I found the accelerator pump arm was broken by the PO, and the connector linkage missing.

I've found a source for the arm, but I need the measurement for the stock linkage between the arm and the main throttle linkage to fabricate a new one.

Also, I notice there's three holes in the main linkage to connect the arm to - which one is the correct on?

I took three views of my extra NOS carb so that you can see the shape of the bends.
Putting a set of calipers on the pump link, it looks to be 1.275" between the centers of the holes.

Awesome. Exactly what I needed. Thanks a bunch.
