    Thinking of a light motor in overhaul, Carbon cleanup,valve guides,hone and rings.IF I can find the parts! Anybody know where to find em?

    You don't even want to know what it will cost you. Look the other way and run. Do a conversion much cheaper. Trust me I spent over 3 grand on the turd of an engine was going to do the 2 barrel conversion and had the civilian distributor and everything. I drove it less than 20 hours and pulled it out. Working on finishing my v-8 truck.

    Found these guys.Some cheap, others out of site.
    Lite was the key word, no bearings,rods or pistons.Gaskets can be made,other than a head gasket.. Just need to find rings and valve guides. Times money.Even the full kit is cheaper than a conversion IMHO. She runs fine just puffin more than I like.
