For those of you that are familiar with this place, any sense if they are parting those 725 ambulances out or just selling them whole?

    Cheers,

They only sell whole vehicles, no parting out.

Yeah, thats kind of what I figured. I called Jack this morning. A super nice guy and he more-or-less confirmed the whole vehicle sales bit and said he had something like 13 M725s for sale there. All of them are pretty much complete and most of them he purchased years ago as a group from Wasilla air command in AK.
I'm still going to check that place out the next time I'm in Tucson tho.

He has M715's and I know of one pretty complete M726. Some Marine Corps M715's. Hard to find an original one of those.

For real. Unfortunately, they will eventually pass on to another owner... when they are just barely enough metal to take to the scrapper...

That could take many decades in that climate, Don-- that's the reason MASDC (or whatever the aircraft boneyard is called these days) is located nearby.

Actually their price is for a 100% complete truck that they have gone through and it has a fresh paint job. That's why they don't sell any parts, because they use them to complete full vehicles. Several members here have bought trucks from them and said they do a nice job. One member, Al bought one and drove it from Arizona back to Washington with no problems.

    My apologies to Jack.
I rescind my previous comment, as I thought the price was for 'as is' condition.
Having dealt with so many surplus and junk dealers that wanted unrealistic prices for unrestored vehicles, I assumed Jack was just another one.
