    ooooh, I like your thought rp. I guess I didn't explain it well enough. I thought I could place the cut out letters under the sheet metal, then fasten the sheet to the table. Heat and form with a mallot around the letters.

    I did accomplish one thing... you all were thinking about it. Thanks for the input. $200 for a replica doesn't sound right, but I like the idea and that would be the way to go.

    I'm liking the custom Idea... I could even create my own JEEP logo or maybe M-7-1-5 on the gate would be right on. I have just the idea now... and will show everyone when it's done.

    Oh, I see what your talking about now. Yeah, I don't think that would be a good idea and I don't think it would turn out nice.

    How about cutting the letters and drilling welding holes from the back and using filler / chaulk to finish the front?

    At this point now a days you could probably 3d print the letters and bolt them on
