    Default Pto Shaft,

Can you run a one piece shaft from the pto to the winch, or do you have to use the bearing, and a (2) piece shaft?

Stock has a two piece shaft and a carrier bearing that mounts to the lower alternator bracket.

I can't say as I personally tried to get a one piece shaft through there and failed, but it sure doesn't look possible.

Your gonna need a two piece shaft with the bearing. I just finished one.

Great. How hard is it to find the bearing for this?

I have often seen the bearing itself on ebay.

It depends if you are looking for the exact original, or if you are willing to make your own bracket and just buy a regular 3-bolt hanger bearing. I have seen the stock winch bearing on Ebay a couple times, but I've never seen the stock bearing in person, so I couldn't say for sure if it was the correct one. You still would have to make the bracket for the bearing or try to find one, but it seems that they are relatively hard to find.

Since stock pto stuff, I mean driveshafts, shifters etc are hard to come by. It would probably be much easier to fab up your own creation using a bearing and some round stock with small u joints.

Farm stores carry a bunch of pto stuff, I would think it would nealry be a one stop shop if you're not after 100% original.
