Oh ya I forgot. The ole stripper verses sandblast thread. 10 min. power wash , tommorrow 10 min, sandblast. What do I know.
Any trouble getting it to fit? It looks good. You'll be done way before the parade. But how come you only got one bumperette installed? C'mon...
How 'bout a few details of removing that bend in the top rail? Did you cut and then re-weld? Or did you just heat and beat?
Crow bar with metal blocks to push upward, got it cherry hot, love taps with a 3lb sledge. the trick was geting the metal block into where the original fold was. Fits great Rob.
Also if you notice I bolted the tailgate to the bed and used heat on the top.A 4 ft straight edge on the gate with hydro power against the front of the bed.
Looks great man! That's exactly the results I'm looking for with my bed rail. Thanks for posting.
This is fantastic. I have a similar issue with the bed rail on my truck, I'll give that a try.
"Parade"? What parade?
