MightyMike's M715
Hi - new to the forum and new M715 owner. I picked up my Kaiser on GSA Auctions in January. Prior to this, it was maintained by the Colorado State Forest Service then Division of Fire Prevention and Control going back to 1980. From the maintenance records I have, it spent most of its time with the Holyoke Volunteer Fire Department in Holyoke, Colorado. The engine threw a couple connecting rods, so I'll probably put in a SBC or LS. The rest of the drivetrain and brakes are in decent condition, but I won't know more until I start turning wrenches. No parades for this truck, I plan to fix up the exterior and interior, then put in a QTAC skid mounted tank and pump unit for fire duty on my property. Mike
