Man that thing is cool. I'd love it (not sure what I'd put it in - oh well, have to buy something new) but I'm way north of you in MI. Anyone heading up this way?

That would be a great motor for a 715, except for its rev speed. TONS of torque, reasonable economy as long as you are gentle on the fuel, . . but with the stock 715 gears it would kind of gear bound at the top end. it is a nice install, i put one in a 65 J300 pickup, . sweet ride. I would not hesitate for a second to put it in one except for the availability of parts
