Does anybody know if a 1968 J3000 gladiator jeep tailgate will fit the M715? I found one locally and I need a tailgate I asked the guy to measure his and when i get home I'll measure mine to see if its a fit but thought i'd ask the experts first.

no, its on craigslist in Hartford,CT but no pic of tailgate, but the front of the truck looks very simular.

The M715 bed is military only...the tailgate wont interchange from anything else to the M715.
The cab sheet metal has a lot of similarities tfrom the military truck to the civvy one...sometimes even being the same...but the bed is unique to the M715.
