    Default m725 axle swap

    Hey Guys,
I need your help in deciding how I should proceed with my axle swap. I liked the article from jp magazine where they used a set of dually axles on a m715
and planned on using H1 hummer wheels: http://www.jpmagazine.com/techarticl...wap/index.html

I picked up a set of 79' chevy dually axles D60/ d70HD but what I failed to realize at the time is that the chevy front d60 is for SOA, also the spring perches don't line up with the m725 leaf springs. I don't want to raise the truck any higher than it already is to keep the CG as low as possible. A small height increase may be o.k. since I plan to put in a Cummins diesel later.
So my question is how hard is it to relocate the chevy d60 spring perches and would it be easier to move the leaf springs a little closer together to fit the axles?
Or should I sell the chevy d60 dually and get a Ford d60 for an easier fit?
I'm also open to the idea of chucking the front leaf springs altogether and going with a coil spring setup for a better ride.
Your input will be greatly appreciated,
    thanks.

Charles, If you have the fab skills to change to coils springs, adding new spring perches and making it a spring under should not be to bad
