Migh be good below 4000 feet or so, but in the mountains, its gonna have trouble...
Lord send your Holy Ghost into our hearts and make the desire of our hearts Your Will.
Pro-choice, that's a LIE, babies don't choose to die!!
Luckily here in MI the only thing we have over 4k are airplanes lol
I was thinking an FE in the west...like Dave found out with his built motor in an M725 last year in Colorado...

throwaway the carb for efi and you have a motor that will go in the mountains.
Make sure to get a Ford closed loop or an aftermarket - chebby's open loop doesn't self adjust too well.
Actually I haven't taken one to altitude, just my experience with bolt on mods w/o re-flashing the prog.
I dont plan on going above 4000 feet anytime soon. I should be good for a while.
I would love to go with EFI but all the bolt on kits I have seen are only good up to 600 hp and I will be maxing it out.
Ok. Well, in that case carry-on. Looking good.
I got to play with my 715 a little on my last R&R. I got annoyed and packed everything up when I got all the parts together and started on the pinion brakes and the caliper brackets I got from ebay didnt fit. I packed everything back up and went on with my vacation. I am just going to get some disc brakes that bolt to the hubs. Here are a few pictures of the very little progress I made. I got the speedo in and have my seats in place but not mounted firm.
I did a little research on a fuel injection system and found one from F.A.S.T that works up to 1000 hp. I am going with a world products merlin III big bore block that will give me 540 ci so shooting for the 700+ hp and tq.
ordered these wheels today
