Finally! A new heater core

Tried for about 6 months to find a replacement heater core for War Pig. Finally had enough and took it this morning to H&H Radiator in Hampton, Va.... Figured they'd have to construct a brand new one from assorted parts. The old gray beard owner stares at it for about 10 minutes, takes some measurements and stares some more. Says rather gruffly "Be with you in 20 minutes" and disappears. Comes back with a brand new one in a box covered in 2 inches of dust. WOW!!! Amazing! Only charged me 61 dollars. Greatest radiator shop in the world folks!

Yup, there still are those shops out there. I would spend that money for a new core in a New York Minute. But, I don't have a heater! Seriously, we have a great old fashion radiator shop in the west part of Jacksonville, FL. Took care of me pronto.

For a heater core or a radiator core? The shop in Jacksonville charged me $350 and it was new, virgin brass, made in the USA and custom made to exactly fit the original McCord radiator that came in my truck.

Do you have a part # or make on the Heater Core?

Just what I wondered...is there a manufacturer and part number on the box or the heater core?

Markings on Core, "Harrison 68L". This is what was in my 1967. It looks good but will have tested.
